TRU deal for me.

Today I bought this Graco pack n' play. I've had my eyes out for deals on these and found something similar on Craigslist for $40. However, this one sells in stores for $69.99. I had a 20% off one baby item coupon, plus $11 left on a gift card that I got for free for making a baby registry. So I paid about $46 oop for this. $6 more than CL, but it's not used, I don't have to drive to someone's house to get it, and it is in the pattern I actually want. Plus this month TRU has 10% back for rewards card members, so I will get $4.60 back as a coupon later too. Seems like a pretty good deal to me!

$50 Babystar gift card for $18

Wow, this is a great deal!! Jasmere has a deal today for a Babystar.com gift card worth $50. You only pay $18 (the price might even go down further if people keep buying this deal). This is another one of those deal-a-day websites. Babystar clothes are adorable and eco-friendly!! Penny had a pair of their organic jeans that I loved. She has since grown out of them. I have those for sale on Ebay, by the way!

I didn't take a picture of my purchases this time, for obvious reasons, but I got:

1 pair of underwear ($8.50 value) with my Free Panty coupon = FREE
5 pairs from the 5 for $25 table - used my Secret Rewards Card which turned out to be worth $10 = $15
1 Biofit bra $45 - used $10 off any bra coupon (this is also on the free panty coupon) = $35

Spent approx. $50
Saved approx. $$28.50

Not bad for one of the most expensive places on Earth, right?

Sweet Deal at VS

Check out this deal that Super Coupon Girl found for Victoria Secret. Get really cheap undies with free shipping and then get a gift card back for at least $10, but up to $500.

I bought a pair of underwear for $3.99 on clearance + free shipping, and will get at least $10 GC back. That's a good deal!

Old Navy Deal

If you buy something at Old Navy right now they will give you a coupon to use for 20% off gift cards from Dec. 18 to Dec. 24. My genius idea is to go buy something really cheap, like a clearance item, to get the coupon. Then go back and buy a gift certificate with the coupon (you can use it for up to $300 in gcs). So there you are saving 20% right off the bat. Then use the gift card later tobuy merchandise and ALSO use a coupon at that time (they release Qs all the time on their website and sometimes in ads in newspapers). I find 20% and 30% off Qs all the time. So, in theory, if you could find a 30% coupon to use later, you could end up saving 50% (the original 20% + the 30% Q) on future merchandise.

If you are a frequent Old Navy shopper, this is totally worth it! Since gift cards don't expire soon like coupons do, you can hold on to it as long as you need to in order to maximize your deal. Maybe you could even use it to buy school clothes for your kids this coming fall.
