UPS thinks I'm a loon

Here's a picture of Penny sitting amidst the pile of things that came in the mail from Amazon today. I paid about $50 total for all of the things pictured (mainly $22 on the breast pump and $18 on the crocodile organizer). This was all bought with $10 Amazon codes found on little green postcards in Baby Talk and American Baby magazines that I either got in the mail, got from Babies R Us, got from my OB's office, or got through trading other random coupons and gift cards (like Kohl's and Starbucks) on the Baby Cheapskate Facebook page.

Absurd, I know!!

Pictured:
I know it's hard to see it all, but there is: iPlay sunhat, Booginhead pacifier holder, Munchkin dishwasher basket, 60 Lansinoh breast pads, Green Sprouts stacking cups, Vulli chan pie gnon toy, outlet covers + remover, waterproof organic crib pad, Lansinoh breast pump, Bumbo tray, changing pad, Thirsties diaper inserts, 12 Gerber cloth diapers (burp cloths), puppy pop-up hamper, and 3 Sprouts crocodile wall organizer. Pheweeee, that's a lot of stuff.

Tis the Season for Mailbox Goodies

I thought I might share what has been arriving in my mail the last few days. These are all freebies and cheapies that I have been pointed toward from my favorite blogs My Frugal Adventures and Coupon Clippin' Carrie. Well, aside from the Charlie and Lola DVD and the pajamas --those were my own finds.

*2 Melissa and Doug puzzle boxes (4 puzzles in each). $5 each (orig. price $14 ea.) This was from a Black Friday online sale at Carter's. I also used a 20% off code which basically gave me free shipping.
*Charlie and Lola DVD: $6.49 on Amazon (over 50% off). Free shipping with Prime. I believe that price is still accurate if you are interested.
*270 address labels: $3 (price of shipping) from Vista Print. I'm actually am using them for Penny's Books and they say "This Book Property of".
*20 AA batteries for $5.94 and 28 AAA batteries for $8.24. This was a fantastic price from Amazon. Free shipping with Prime and I got 15% off for subscribe and save. Hopefully I won't be running out of batteries for a while!
*Ester-C Sample: free of course. Came with a $2 coupon.

And today I got my Children's Place order from the Black Friday Sale where fleece pants and pull-overs were $5 each. I used a 20% off code and free shipping to get 3 items for $12!

I think I need to bake some cookies for my mail carriers.

Free Lightbulb Update

Remember a while ago when I posted about getting a coupon in the mail from Duke Energy for a free pack of CFLs at Wal-mart?
Well, it was reported that Wally's was constantly out of the specific pack that the coupon was for, and it was pretty much a bust. I investigated the situation myself (risking my life to go into the mouth of hell!) and found that to be the truth.
Today I got a postcard in the mail telling me that the expiration date on the Q has been extended and it is now valid on a few different types of CFL packages. So, everyone rejoice, we may just get our free lightbulbs yet! However, I am still dreading the trip to WM!

Keep an eye on your mailbox for this postcard and don't throw it away because I wouldn't be surprised if you went to WM and tried to use the Q and they tell you it is expired. Then you can whip out the ol' postcard and tell them what's what.

Packages!

Here are the wonderful things I found in my mailbox the other day:

A full size Aveeno lotion which was a free "sample" I signed up for a while back.

A bathing suit from Hanna Andersson that I bought with the free shipping deal I posted a few days ago. (paid $20). This suit is so adorable and such great quality!! Well worth the moolah.

My new coupon organizer I ordered on Etsy from Grandmaslittlelilly for $11.25+shipping. This is very well-made and will really help to keep my Qs in check, rather than floating around my purse in droves.

Saturday was a good day for mail

In my mailbox on Saturday!
A coupon from Duke Energy for a free 6 pk. of CFLs at Wal-mart (sucks that I will have to step foot in Wal-mart to use this though!)
and
A coupon for a Free Yoplait Greek Yogurt from Pssst! Plus a bunch of .35/1 Qs that will double at Kroger and probably make for some very cheap yogurt.
Also, in the background you see an issue of Babytalk, for which I have a free subscription.
