Jumbo Personalized Stockings from PBK for $16.49

Pottery Barn Kids is having a big sale right now. A couple things are kind of exciting, I think. One is they have their jumbo sized quilted Santa stockings on sale for $9.99, original price is $39.99! You can add a monogrammed name for $6.50. Shipping is free on this item! So that's $16.49 for a $39.99 stocking!

They also have an Anywhere Chair in the lavender dot pattern for $94.99, down from $119.99. Shipping is not free on this item though. This is one of those things that it is hard to find a good deal on. The one I bought I didn't get on sale... but Penny loves it and has used it every single day since we bought it, so I don't regret it.

Check out the rest of the sale and see if there is anything that tickles your fancy.

Hanna Andersson Sale

Hanna Andersson is having a Best of Summer Sale and they just marked down some new items. Dresses and shorts for $18 (such as the one pictured above) and tees and tanks for $14. If you're a Hanna fan, like I am, you might be interested, because this kind of sale really makes Hanna's clothes more within reach of the budget-friendly. Or you could just keep lurking ebay like I do ;D

Their stuff is the best quality and I love everything we own by this brand. If you have a little extra cash to spend on summer clothes, this would be a great time to do it. All of their clothes are Oeko-Tex Certified and a lot of them are organic cotton too. My favorite product is their organic PJs. They are so soft and well-made!

5 Children's Books for $10

Better World Books (my favorite online bookseller) has a deal right now, 5 used children's books for $10 in honor of Children's Book Week (who knew that even existed?) Shipping is always free, but you can choose carbon offset eco-shipping for a mere .02 per book. I always do.

Make sure the books you choose are part of the sale. You can see them HERE.

Click through Ebates first and get 3% cash-back!! Just search "better world books".

Proceeds of BWB sales go to literacy programs all around the world! And since you are buying used books, you are keeping them out of landfills (although BWB does sell some new books as well). So not only are you getting a better deal for your dollar financially, but also ethically! ;D

30% off GroBaby diapers!!

I have been oggling these diapers ever since I first saw them. If my daughter was younger, I would definitely take advantage of this deal. But at this point I would rather her be potty-trained than wearing a new diaper...
Anyways, the wonderful natural parenting online boutique, Franklin Goose, has all GroBaby products for 30% off right now. This is an amazing deal b/c you will almost NEVER see these for less than SRP. The Gro Baby Shell Set is $17.47, down from $24.95! (Add it to your cart to see the discounted price). I am so excited to share this deal with those of you with young babies in cloth!

It would be even more awesome if you took advantage of last month's promotion to get $5 credit for every product review. I have $80 in credits sitting around waiting to use for xmas gifts this year.

Payless BOGO + 20% off (+ 8% cash back)

I went to Payless today to get my little sister some new tap and ballet shoes (her feet grow so fast!!) and I was psyched b/c I know they are having a BOGO sale right now and that is about the only way you will ever get a sale on dance shoes. I still had one of those 20% Catalina coupons that I blogged about a couple weeks ago. I used that on the shoes that were full price. So I got one pair for 20% off and one for 50% off. Nice, eh?

My point in posting this is really to let you all know, in case you didn't already, that you can use a coupon along with the BOGO sale, but it will only apply to the full price pairs that you buy. I just figured this might be a little known fact. On the coupon it does say that it isn't valid with any other offers, but apparently a BOGO sale doesn't count for that. However, the BOGO sale does count for clearance merchandise (I'm not sure if the coupon does, but probably).

Also,if you don't have any coupons, but if you have AAA membership, show them your card and get 10% off. (however, this doesn't apply to dance shoes for some reason).

AND if you give Payless your phone number while you are there, you will get text messages with coupons in them. I got a 20% off one a week ago.

OR if you want to shop online, the BOGO sale applies, and you can use the code 31491 for 20% off (through today). You will have to pay $5.95 shipping, but you can make up for that by shopping through ShopAtHome for 8% cash back!

BTW, Payless does carry organic shoes from Zoe and Zac!

20% off Babylegs

Babylegs released a coupon code today for 20% off an order. The code is FOOLSDAY. There are a bunch of pairs on sale for $8 right now, including the ones pictured above. They would be $6.40 after the code! Penny has 5 pairs of Babylegs and we love them. They were especially handy before she could walk, but we still use them for an extra layer when the weather is cold.

Deal on Organic Kid's clothing

Sage Creek Organics baby and toddler clothing has a bunch of stuff on sale right now. It is organic, so of course, it's still not cheap, but with the sale, the prices become a bit more feasible. On top of the sale prices, you can use the code SAVE15 to save an extra 15%. The dress pictured above is $23.12 (originally $34) after sale and discount code. It looks like shipping is $5 flat rate.
Sizes are limited, but maybe you can find something for your child to grow into. They have some shortie PJ sets on sale 70% off through today, for $7.20 ($6.12 after discount code), but there are barely any sizes left. Still worth a look.

Payless sale + coupon

Penny and I stopped by Payless today because she needed some sandals and I was hoping to find some cheapies. Her silver gladiators we got there last year were a big hit. Turns out they are having an Easter sale, so pretty much all sandals and other cute things are on sale. We found a pair we liked (although Penny I think would have rather had the Dora ones even though she has never watched the show! but they had lights on them, so...) for $9.99 down from $14.99. On top of that I used my AAA discount of 10% (if you belong to AAA, I urge you to pay attention to all the neat little discounts you can get all over the place), so in the end I paid $9.43. I was pretty pleased with this deal.

BUT THEN...

We went to Kroger for groceries, and lo and behold, we ring out, and out prints a Catalina coupon for 20% off at Payless. How annoying is that!! I could have saved another dollar!! (How do you know you are a crazy coupon queen? when the fact that you got "cheated" out of $1 plagues you for the rest of the night).

Ronzoni Healthy Harvest pasta $1.19 ea. - used $1/1 MFQ from Parents Mag = .19
Newman's Own marinara $1.89 (not sure if it was on sale, but that is a great price even w/o Qs. It is priced around $2.54 at Kroger, and it's the only jar sauce I like)

used $10 GC I got for transferring a prescription
OOP = $16.82

If you want to be picky, you could also add the $2.54 I spent on my HSA card for the RX.

So I didn't get the best deals EVER, but still pretty decent. I managed to get a bathing suit I have been eyeing for Penny on sale, and got an organic cotton cosmetic bag as a treat for myself that will be very useful on some upcoming vacations.

Simple Sale

Simple shoes has sales really often. Right now they have a few men's and women's shoes 50% off. All Simple shoes are made from materials such as organic cotton, bamboo, and recycled car tires. They are dedicated to a sustainable business model, and they have great products!
I signed up for their email list a while ago and I can attest that they don't spam you with tons of emails, but you do find out about their sales, which they have often.
I keep waiting for the toddler poodle shoes to go on sale b/c they are so cute!
Also, you can go to Shop at Home and search "simple shoes". If you shop through there, you will get a big ol' 9% back as a rebate! I think you get a $5 bonus when you first sign up too.

Kroger Mega Sale List

There is finally a list up of every single item in the Kroger Mega Sale this week (and next week I hear). In these sales, there are always a lot of unadvertised items, which makes it hard to prepare your shopping list ahead of time. For me, it is next to impossible to bring my coupon binder into the store with me because I always have to shop with my 1 year old who LOVES to much on coupons! So I make my list before I go and put my needed Qs in an envelope, that way those are the only ones I have to deal with and things are a lot simpler. I do end up missing unexpected deals b/c of this, or sometimes making a second trip later, but there is just no other way to go about it at the moment. So you can see how a master list of sale items being made available to me at home is such an asset! It's always good to plan ahead (although we all know what happens to the best laid plans, so there is almost always a bit of improvising going on in my shopping trips too!)

If you want the scoop, go to Nickel-n-Dime's post here!

PS If you don't know what a coupon binder is, you shall soon find out!

Kroger sale starting 7/12

There are some great deals to be had at Kroger this coming week. Check out mommysnack's list for the best of the best.
I'll post what I get when I go Krogering.
